The menu is split into breakfast, lunch, vegan, sides and kids' sections, with a seasonal spring menu that brings back items like the tuna burger. There is a full beverage list with cocktails and wine. Come early in the day; there is no dinner service to fall back on.
2. Chestnut
A downtown restaurant on Biltmore Avenue with a 4.7 rating from 2,772 reviews, enough volume to call the rating settled. Chestnut serves brunch daily from 10 am to 2:30 pm and dinner nightly starting at 5 pm, so it covers most of the day without a weekday gap. The kitchen rotates its menu rather than holding it fixed, and recent listings point to a new one. Of the sit-down options here, it is the easiest to reach on foot from the center of downtown, which also means dinner service fills quickly on weekends.
3. Corner Kitchen
Chestnut's sister restaurant, in Biltmore Village since 2004, holding 4.7 stars from 2,674 reviews. The schedule mirrors its sibling: brunch from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm, dinner daily from 5 pm to 9 pm. The practical advantage is the location. Parking in the village is free and, by the restaurant's own account, plentiful during dinner service, which is not something downtown can offer. It sits a short walk from the Biltmore Estate entrance, so plan for company on estate-visit days and book dinner ahead in high season.
