The Italian kitchen on East Dean Street makes its pizza and pasta in house, and the Tie-Dye Pizza is the one the restaurant puts front and center. 2. New York Pizza Aspen

It sits upstairs on the Hyman Avenue Mall at 409 East Hyman and opens daily at 11:30, with in-season hours running to 2 a.m., which makes it the default after-bar stop. Whole pies, slices, salads, sandwiches and wings, plus beer and wine. Local delivery runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come for the hours and the by-the-slice convenience rather than for a long dinner.
3. Acquolina
A trattoria and pizzeria on East Main Street, rated 4.1 across 365 reviews, a mid-sized sample that puts it on steadier ground than the newer rooms in town. It is a dinner-only operation: doors open nightly at 5 p.m. and stay open until close, with cocktails and beer running the same hours. Takeout is available every night, which is useful if you are staying in a condo and do not want to negotiate the Main Street parking. Worth knowing that there is no lunch service, so plan around it.
4. Brunelleschi's
The largest pizza list in town, and the lowest rating here: 3.9 from 519 reviews, a big enough sample that the score is unlikely to move much. The menu on South Mill Street runs through Buttermilk, Mushroom, BBQ Chicken, Greek Marinara, Highlands, Quattro Formaggi, Snowmass and a spaghetti-topped pie called Colby's Spaghizza. 5. Zigzag Aspen
Included with a caveat: Zigzag is a modern American restaurant and bar on East Cooper Avenue, not a pizzeria, and pizza is one line on a menu that also runs to a wood-fired pork chop and a seafood platter. The Margarita Pizza is listed at $30. The 4.1 rating rests on just 91 reviews, so treat it as promising rather than settled. Go if you want a bar menu, a happy hour and a single good pie alongside a fuller dinner, not if pizza is the whole point of the evening.
