Texas Music Hall of Famer Freddie Steady Krc will host a song swap with two legendary singer/songwriters, Chris Gantry and Al Staehely. Chris is a longtime Nashville-based songwriter. He is known for a multi-award-winning song he wrote for Glen Campbell “Dreams of the Everyday Housewife”. His songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire and many others. Al Staehely brings his experience fronting the LA rock group called Spirit. He’s written songs for Keith Moon of The Who, Bobbie Gentry, Marty Balin of Jefferson Airplane/Starship and many others. These guys teamed up for an “in the round” at the fabled Bluebird Cafe last time they got together earlier this year. It was a performance rich with songs and stories. Expect the same and more!
