The highest rating after The potluck, 4.7, but from 223 reviews, so treat it as promising rather than settled. It is also listed as a bar, tucked at 3505 Country White Ln in southwest Austin's 78749, off the main restaurant corridors. That location works in a parent's favor if you live out that way and do not want to drive into town. Go in the afternoon or early evening. If the score holds as the review count climbs, it will belong higher on a list like this.
7. Littlefield's Tacos + Coffee
The thinnest evidence here, and we would rather say so than dress it up: 4.2 stars from 134 reviews, the lowest rating and the smallest sample on the list. What earns it a place is the format. Tacos and coffee at 2401 Winsted Ln, just west of downtown near Clarksville, is a workable breakfast with kids, a meal most restaurants on this list are not built for. Morning is the natural visit.
