VDOT has scheduled a Design Public Hearing to allow the public the opportunity to review preliminary plans, environmental documentation, property impact information, and tentative schedules for constructing a shared-use path along the east side of Avon Street between Avon Court and Druid Avenue. The session will be an informal open house with no formal presentation. Come out to see plans for what is a key link on the Rivanna Trail, and express your support for improving what is a dangerous road walk for hikers and bikers.
