Experience the vitality of Baroque music as it was meant to be heard when the University of Virginia Baroque Orchestra presents its fall concert on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall.Directed by faculty violinist David Sariti, the UVA Baroque Orchestra brings seventeenth- and eighteenth-century music to life through historically informed performance. Performing on period instruments from the University's extensive collection and at Baroque pitch, the ensemble explores the rich colors, textures, and expressive possibilities of music by composers of the Baroque era using the techniques and performance practices for which it was originally conceived.More information is available on our website.
