Every third Saturday of the month, CAS hosts a learning and observing session at Leander McCormick Observatory for club members only. The learning portion is targeted at new astronomers and also for anyone with any kind of question about astronomy, telescopes and operations (including their own), imaging, etc. The observing portion (weather permitting) includes opening the 26" telescope and the doghouse telescopes and any other telescopes that members want to bring. We meet shortly after sundown and stay as long as members need or can stand it. You should confirm your attendance with vicepresident at cvilleastro dot com. You could just show up, but know that if nobody confirms attendance, the event may not take place. --Dave SappingtonCAS VP & Observing Director
