Every third Saturday of the month (except when near a full moon), CAS hosts a special session at Leander McCormick Observatory for club members only. We meet shortly after sundown and stay as long as members need or can stand it. These sessions are not just for observing with the 26" refractor - although that may well be happening also - these meetings are also for anyone with any kind of question about astronomy, telescopes and operations (including their own), imaging, etc. You should confirm your attendance with vicepresident at cvilleastro dot com. You could just show up, but know that if nobody confirms attendance, the event may not take place. --Boris StarostaCAS VP & Observing Director
