Albemarle’s newest and largest county park is hiding a few treasures! Join Tree Stewards Emily Ferguson and Jeff Pacelli for a walk in Biscuit Run’s 1,190 acres in search of its hidden tree gems, the kind worth craning your neck to see before autumn’s colors fade. This is a moderate walk over woodland trails with some hills and unimproved trails that can be muddy. If you are already a tree enthusiast, please bring your favorite tree ID book, hand lens, and/or binoculars as aids. Please dress according to the weather conditions. We will not be walking fast but recommend wearing hiking boots or sneakers and bringing water and food if necessary. Please register on Eventbrite
