On Saturday, November 14th come to Veritas Vineyards and Winery for a magical evening at the Silver Starlight Opportunity Ball celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nelson County Community Fund (NCCF). Enjoy a festive autumn evening of music, dancing, and a three-course dinner paired with fine wine. The event includes an exciting live auction with Ken Farmer from PBS's Antiques Roadshow and a silent auction featuring wonderful regional experiences. Auction items include: two tickets for the Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots game on December 6 with hotel stay; a bottle of 12 year old Pappy Van Winkle bourbon; a polo party for eight people at King Family Vineyards; a week long vacation in St Croix; and a progressive whiskey tasting and dinner for eight. The ball runs from 6:30pm to 11:45 pm. Both cocktail attire and formal attire are welcome. Silver sparkles encouraged! This event raises critical funds for NCCF's important work to support food access, housing security, education, youth development, and health initiatives across Nelson County.
