What Is Digital Scrapbooking? Like traditional scrapbooking, digital scrapbooking combines photos and graphic elements to tell a story or preserve family history. Using materials sourced online, you can create themed collages centered on events or interests such as birthdays, weddings and anniversaries, school activities and graduations, pets, travel, seasons, family, friends, and hobbies. Who Should Attend: Absolute beginners who want an overview of digital scrapbooking, traditional scrapbookers transitioning to digital media or photo enthusiasts who want to do more with their images. What You Will Learn: Sylvia Rowe will showcase examples of her inspiring designs and demonstrate how to create high-resolution digital scrapbook pages using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Specifically, you will observe: Quick Photo Enhancements: Crop, brighten and color-correct images so they pop on the page. Design & Layout: Use of background papers, digital embellishments, photo matting, and text journaling. Document Setup: Configure print-ready canvas (e.g., standard 12×12 or 8.5×11 inches). Layer Mechanics: Master the layer panel to stack background papers, photo mats, and decorations. Typography
