The Richmond ZombieWalk touts itself as “an epidemic of mass murder being committedby a virtual army of unidentified assassins, or just a parade of zombie fansbenefiting various charities.” This tongue-in-cheek description captures thefun and friendship (plus a creative costume or two) among the horde of undeadcosplayers that will descend upon Carytown Saturday, Oct. 24. Participantsgather at 1 p.m. at Fountain Lake in Byrd Park, and it’s free to join in, witha $5 donation requested to benefit Suicide Awareness and Prevention. The walkembarks from The Byrd Theatre at 2:30 p.m.
