The Anderson and the VCUarts Art Foundation Program (AFO) are thrilled to present Spükhaus 2026, AFO’s annual haunted house-inspired art experience on Friday, October 30th, 6:00–9:00pm. The Anderson will be transformed into a spooky haunted house-inspired art experience, and Ghoul Guides will lead visitors through on guided tours on Friday evening. On Saturday, the building will be open for gallery visitors to view during our open hours from 12-5pm, with no guided tours. Sign up now for your tour slot! Tours will start every 5 minutes beginning at 6:00pm and ending at 8:55pm. Online tour sign-ups will end the day of the event at 4:30pm. If you do not sign up online in advance for a tour, you must sign up at the door for the next available tour time (if any remain available) and you will likely wait at least 30 minutes for entry. Exhibitors who have artwork on view in the installation must still sign up for a tour slot to enter the building during the Friday event. This event is free and open to the public. Visit The Anderson: Tues-Fri: 12-6pm Sat: 12-5pm closed during VCU school breaks & periodically for exhibitions installation.
