2. Fort Marcy Dog Park
The closest option to the Plaza area, and a reasonable walk-to choice for anyone staying or living downtown. It holds a 4.3 from 54 reviews, which is a solid score on a small sample: promising rather than settled, and worth reading as a park people like without the volume of traffic Frank Ortiz gets. Note that its listing carries no street address beyond the 87501 ZIP, so search the park name rather than a number if you are navigating in. Best treated as a convenience pick when crossing town is not worth it.
3. Villa Linda Dog Park
Included because it exists and is the only dedicated dog park on the Rodeo Road side of town, at 4300 Rodeo Rd.
